Alyth McCormack is originally from the Hebrides off the Northwest Coast of Scotland but now lives in Wexford. She is a singer and musician and has practised Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Hatha styles of yoga for many years worldwide. When faced with a family illness, Alyth knew she needed to prioritise some stress relief and centre herself as best she could. She was introduced to Kundalini Yoga, which is both stimulating and calming as it helps move your energy, not just your body.
During the pandemic, Alyth decided to dive deep into her practice and studied to become a yoga teacher. She is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with every BODY, so she also teaches Chair Yoga.
In addition to maintaining and increasing flexibility, her classes are designed to help us reconnect with ourselves to foster self-awareness, acceptance, compassion, patience, gratitude, and love to help us live more fully—Sat Nam.
Alyth studied with Brett Larkin, Uplifted Yoga and Dina Cohen, Dynamic Flow Yoga.
She is a registered yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance and Yoga Alliance Professionals.
