Description

Catherine Lawler MSc BSc H. Dip MIAPT

Catherine is a fully registered member of CORU, the Physiotherapist Registration Board (PT026311) and the Irish Association of Physical Therapists.

Born and raised in Wexford, her interest in physio comes from a background in Track and Field athletics.   Catherine was privileged to work with Golf Ireland and World Golf as the physio for the World Amateur Team Championship in Carton House in 2018.   She continues to work with GAA clubs as team physio and works with individual athletes from all sports including soccer, rugby, golf, swimmers, athletes, skiers and the everyday runner.   She has lectured on Injury Prevention to Rugby clubs and put in place a Functional Movement Analysis for a full hurling team.

Working with all ages from young children to the older person, she provides an in-depth rehabilitation program allowing the individual to return to normal daily living/ return to playing sport or gardening or whatever they have stopped doing as a result of their injury.  She has had great results working with consultants providing pre surgery exercises and post operative rehabilitation.

Catherine continues to study and has undertaken extensive post graduate training to expand her skills.  Catherine has recently completed a course with Harvard University and is a member of the Pro-Sport Academy in the UK.

Catherine is a private practitioner having previously worked in the Priory Clinic Stillorgan, Slaney Medical Centre and Presentation Centre Enniscorthy.
