Carina McEvoy is a therapist, author, and former secondary school teacher who is passionate about supporting children, teenagers, and families in developing emotional resilience and confidence. As a mother of two, she brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work.

In 2018, Carina founded the Emotional Therapy Centre, where she helps young people and their families better understand and manage overwhelming emotions, negative thought patterns, and behaviours.

As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Practitioner, and Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Carina works on both a cognitive and subconscious level to support meaningful and lasting change.

Author, therapist & former teacher Carina is on a mission to help kids & teens unleash their own inner power! She believes that involving the parents/guardians in this process is just as important, as they are such an important factor to helping their little ones unleash this amazing resilience. Carina provides valuable guidance to help individuals manage their emotions, thoughts and unwanted behaviours. She believes that we all have the power within us to master anything! One of the greatest qualities Carina possesses is empathy, as she knows exactly how anxiety and unhealthy emotions can take hold! Fortunately however, she also knows how to break that hold and take control back! Carina is also the children’s anxiety expert for South East Radio’s Morning Mix Show with Alan Corcoran.
