Lisa has a BSc Honours degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. The integrative approach offers a broad structure to deal with a diverse range of clients by using various approaches that work best to encourage the client to make effective changes in their life direction and choices.
Lisa is passionate about this work, as in her experiences to date, she has seen the huge, positive impact that working with a counsellor in the correct environment can have on a person’s life.
Lisa provides a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients to work through a wide range of issues that affect their emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
Including, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, internal family struggles, domestic and sexual abuse, self-harm, suicidal ideation, relationship issues, grief, and loss.
Lisa has a particular interest in working with men who are often hesitant to reach out, and a deep interest in supporting family members/ carers of loved ones living with dementia.
