Orla has been practicing yoga for over ten years and since starting yoga, she has noticed the positive effects yoga has on both mind and body.
In June 2018, Orla received her 200 hour yoga teacher training qualification from Yoga Diploma Ireland based in Waterford, and she has been teaching yoga since then. She is currently upskilling in a 300 hour a yoga teacher training course.
Orla’s classes offer a welcoming space for all levels to explore the benefits of yoga. The use of props is encouraged, and support and modifications are offered to those experiencing limited mobility. Her foremost goal is to share the practice in a way that is accessible to all, allowing students to practice within their own comfort zone.
What is hatha yoga?
Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to stretch and align the body. Along with the postures, it incorporates breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques to rejuvenate both mind and body.
